CBS has ordered the comedy pilot Mike Birbiglia’s Secret Public Journal, which is based upon the comedian’s weekly blog that is featured on the nationally syndicated radio show The Bob and Tom Show. Birbiglia will star as a stand-up comedian who lives with his girlfriend and tries to balance show business and his personal life. The comedian created the project with Andrew Secunda, who wrote the script.
