ComedyPop is sponsoring the 2nd Annual Battle of the Comedians for stand-up comedy
“in any language“ up to 10 minutes in length. Submissions must be uploaded online. Entries will be accepted starting April 1, 2008 and will close June 30, 2008.
Semifinalists from across the globe will be battling each other until the last one stands in November. The competition will be giving away a total of $11,000 in cash. Details are at ComedyPop.com.
ComedyPop, which is owned by Pyxix Corporation, is an online comedy club where established and aspiring stand-up comedians, comedic actors and comedy filmmakers can submit, view and rate comedy clips from around the world.
Comedian Tina Kim was last year’s “Battle of the Comedians” champion.
