Deacon Gray, a 22-year comedy veteran and new talent coordinator at Comedy Works in Denver, won the top prize ($5000 and a trophy) at the inaugural Great American Comedy Festival in Norfolk, Nebraska. Erin Jackson, who hails from Washington, DC won second place ($3000) and Drake Witham and Jim McDonald tied for third place ($2000) .
