Comedians Kevin Flynn and Bonnie Block Levison will launch the Nantucket Comedy Festival on July 28th in Nantucket Island, MA. The non-profit, family-oriented festival will offer a week of comedy shows and events featuring national headliners such as Will Durst, Mike Birbiglia and Scott Blakeman while supporting local charities. The festival’s events will include Kids ‘N Comedy classes taught by Jane Condon, a tribute to Nantucket seasonal residents, husband and wife team Anne Meara and Jerry Stiller and an all-star gala of comedians from Boston and New York competing for the funniest city title, in which Rescue Me actor-comedian Lenny Clarke will be presented with the Man from Nantucket Award.
