STAGE TIME has learned that comedian-actor Rudy Ray Moore best known to his fans as Dolemite died last Friday due to complications with diabetes. He was 81. Moore began his stand-up comedy career in the late 1960s as one of the early pioneers of “blue humor” and is most famous for his blaxploitation film Dolemite and its sequel The Human Tornado.
