The fourth annual SOUTH BEACH COMEDY FESTIVAL will kick off Wednesday, January 21 with a lineup that features some of comedy’s leading performers including Cheech & Chong, Lisa Lampanelli, Lewis Black, Jim Norton, Daniel Tosh, Craig Robinson and Nephew Tommy. In addition, Super High Me star Doug Benson will host COMEDY CENTRAL’s The Hot List, a showcase of up-and-coming comedians.
The festival, which runs through January 24, will once again team up with COMEDY CENTRAL and Channel 7/Deco Drive to search for new talent. Video clips from the top five finalists will then air on January 12–19 on WSVN-7’s Deco Drive. Fans will have the opportunity to send a text message to vote for their favorite. The winner will be announced on Tuesday, January 20 on-air and will subsequently have the opportunity to perform live on the COMEDY CENTRAL’s Lincoln Road Stage during the Festival.
