For the first time in two years, Comic Strip Live will hold open auditions for the comedy club beginning on April 7. The auditions are open to anyone, not just comedians, at least 18 years of age. Comic Strip Live co-owners Richie Tienken and Bob Wachs, who managed Eddie Murphy at the height of his career, are seeking new talent.
In order to be considered for the audition, participants must arrive at the Comic Strip Live by 6 pm on Wednesday, April 1. They will pick a number out of a hat that will determine the date they will audition for the club. Auditions are five minutes long and will take place on Tuesdays starting April 7. Participants will be seen by the talent booker and club owners.
