Comedian Michele Balan, known to millions from NBC’s Last Comic Standing, will shoot a television pilot, Is It Hot In Here…Or Is It Just Me? on Friday, April 17 at New York’s Triad Theater. Showtime is 9:30 pm. The taping will be a one-time only performance with classic and new material. Singer Marieann Meringolo will open for the comedian.
“The recording will be a collectors’ item,” says Balan. “I will tell some of the jokes for the last time.”
One lucky couple will win a pair of tickets to the show. Entries should be sent to Balancomictix@yahoo.com. Entries must state the name of the entrant and give a valid email address and phone number for the entrant. Entries must be received by 11:59 pm on Saturday, April 4. Entrants must be age 21 or older and are responsible for their own transportation to and from the show as well as their tab for refreshments. The winner will be drawn at random and informed by email or phone how to obtain the tickets.
