Comedian Kareem Green of Brooklyn, NY won the top prize at the 23rd annual Bay Area Black Comedy Competition and Festival last night. Green beat out five other finalists for the coveted honor, becoming the second New Yorker to win the competition. Smokey Edington, a fellow Brooklynite, won in 2007.
