Rooftop Comedy has launched Rooftop Comedy Productions, a new record label devoted to the production and distribution of live comedy albums.
Rooftop Comedy records live stand-up performances 365 nights a year from their network of over 25 comedy clubs in North America, Europe and Australia, distributing selections of the content to their media partners that include Apple iTunes, Yahoo! News, Nokia, Hulu, TiVo, Fast Company, Current TV and YouTube.
In addition to the 28 comedy albums currently available from Rooftop Comedy Productions, album releases by Laurie Kilmartin (Five Minutes to Myself), Jamie Lissow (12 Drink Minimum) and Dat Phan (You Touch, You Buy) were launched this week on iTunes.
