Treehouse Comedy Productions announced the winners of the “Funniest Comic in Connecticut” contest last Friday. Comedian Jackson was named the grand prize champion in the Professional Division. Darren Rivera and Artie Robb took second and third place, respectively. Trent Pappas won first place in the Amateur Division. The runners-up were Dougie Phillips (2nd place), David Hintz (3rd place) and John Romanoff (4th place). Winners in the Professional Division took home cash prizes between $250-$1500, and the winner in the Amateur Division won a cash prize of $500. Additional prizes include paid personal appearances with Treehouse and Xtreme Comedy.
