Two new series, Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best? starring comedian Joan Rivers and her daughter Melissa Rivers, and A Stand-Up Mother starring comedian Tammy Pescatelli, will premiere Thursday, January 20, 2011 on WE tv.
In Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best? (9/8pm CT), Melissa Rivers’ world is rocked when her mother Joan sets out to switch coasts, change her lifestyle and infiltrate Melissa’s home. At times loving and at times tumultuous, this ultimate mother/daughter showdown will address the question plaguing daughters since the beginning of time: does mother really know best?
A Stand-Up Mother (10/9pm CT) follows Tammy Pescatelli, a working comedian who moved from a Los Angeles to raise her family in Meadeville, PA. Pescatelli juggles work and managing her large extended family in a small town. (Hollywood Reporter)
