Comedian Sean Grant has been named the winner of the Improv’s The 5 Spot Contest, amassing more Improv.com followers and beating out hundreds of comedians who participated in the contest.
As the champion, he will now have the opportunity to perform at the world famous Hollywood Improv in front of a packed house and more importantly, the national booker for the largest network of comedy clubs in the nation, the Improv Comedy Clubs.
“I would like to thank the Improv for this opportunity and I especially want to say thank you to the hundreds of fans who took the time to support me throughout this contest,” said Grant.
Grant, 24, is a native of Miami and has been performing stand-up since the age of 17. Grant was recognized as the Funniest College Student in America by ABC and Jimmy Kimmel Live. In addition to performing at comedy clubs, colleges and festivals around the nation, he has been a featured guest on TBS’ top-rated sitcom Meet the Browns.
