Comedian and Mo’Nique Show co-host Rodney Perry is the one of the new faces joining the cast of Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Big Happy Family. Perry plays Harold, a henpecked man who has completely lost control of his family. For a family man like Perry the role reminds him of some of his own family gatherings and how crazy it can get when the whole squad reunites.
“Shooting Madea’s Big Happy Family was like being with my real life family because I lost control of my wife and kids years ago. Wish I had Madea’s help,” says Perry.
The movie stars Tyler Perry, Bow Wow, Loretta Devine, Lauren London, and Isaiah Mustafa, and will open in theaters on April 22, 2011.
