Disney XD has ordered Lab Rats, a live-action comedy starring comedian Hal Sparks. Lab Rats is about a teenager, Leo, who discovers three teen super-humans with bionic powers in the basement of his home, which he shares with his mom, Tasha, and inventor stepdad, Donald Davenport. The bionic trio soon convince Leo to take them along to high school so they too can experience normal life. The multi-camera series will begin production in Hollywood in September for a 2012 premiere on Disney XD.
