MTV has announced that it has picked up The Nikki and Sara Show, hosted by stand-up comedians Nikki Glaser and Sara Schaefer. Set in MTV Studios in Times Square, the late night comedy show will include celebrity interviews, sketches and man-on-the-street pieces. The Nikki and Sara Show is slated to premiere later this year on MTV.
“We are beyond excited to be working with MTV on this project,” said Schaefer and Glaser. “Now it’s just a matter of deciding who gets to make out with Zac Efron first.”
Schaefer and Glaser will executive produce The Nikki and Sara Show along with Kim Gamble. Schaefer is a two-time Emmy winner for her work as Head Blogger on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Glaser is known for her appearance on Last Comic Standing where she advanced to the semi-finals while still attending college.
