The 2013 Bridgetown Comedy Festival is accepting submissions for its annual event. Comedians can apply online by completing an application which includes bio, photo and video links. The submissions fee is $20 with no increase; the deadline for submissions is midnight, January 31. Special consideration will be given to comedians who are willing to host. Selected comedians will be notified by February 28.
The Bridgetown Comedy Festival will take place April 18-21 in Portland, OR. It features standup, improv, sketch and variety shows featuring some of the biggest and most respected names in comedy. Past performers include Patton Oswalt,Janeane Garafolo, Maria Bamford, Reggie Watts, Lizz Winstead, Kristen Schaal and Matt Braunger.
