March Comedy Madness 2013 is accepting submissions for stand-up comics for its annual single elimination comedy competition hosted and refereed by Josh Filipowski. Inspired by the NCAA Basketball Tournament, 64 comedians will compete one-on-one for the March Comedy Madness crown. Past winners include Reese Waters (Versus’ The Daily Line), Myq Kaplan (Last Comic Standing), Sam Morril (Comedy Central’s Comics to Watch) and Julian McCullough (Comedy Central Presents).
The regional contests will take place March 7 at 10pm at Flappers Comedy Club in Burbank, CA; March 14 at Sal’s Comedy Hole at 8pm in Hollywood, CA; March 21 at 9pm at Downtown Comedy Club in Los Angeles, CA; and March 28 at 8pm at Westside Comedy Theater in Santa Monica, CA.
The Hollywood Improv will host the Final Four and Championship April 3 at 7:30pm.
