Comedian Erik Rivera is set to tape his first stand-up comedy special Thursday, May 29. Levity Productions, the comedy powerhouse responsible for producing over 100 prime-time specials with comedians such as Jamie Foxx, Jeff Dunham, Daniel Tosh, Tracy Morgan, Billy Gardell, Amy Schumer, Jim Breuer and Bill Cosby, will produce Rivera’s one-hour special at the Levity Live Theater in Nyack, NY.
If you’re not able to catch Rivera’s live comedy taping, you can see him perform Friday, May 30 at Broadway Comedy Club in New York City. He will be offering comedy fans a free DVD copy of his new special (once it’s released) with the purchase of a VIP ticket priced at $25.
Rivera, a New York and Los Angeles comedy scene regular who tours comedy clubs and colleges nationwide, has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, MTV Tr3s, Comedy Central, TV Guide and NUVO TV’s Latino 101.
His upcoming club dates include The Comedy Club of Jacksonville, May 15-17 in Jacksonville, FL; Brea Improv with Steve Trevino, June 19-22 in Brea, CA; and Laugh Factory Las Vegas, June 30 – July 6 at the Tropicana in Las Vegas.
