3. Is it okay to take our son on our business trips? Depends on how much you want to keep your jobs.
4. How can we explain the concept of “away?” Leave your son alone for awhile. It’ll make him feel better.
5. Which are the most kid-friendly hotels? Grandma’s house.
6. What effect do time-zone changes have on children? The same as on adults, but there’s no drinking to recover.
7. Are there ways we can help our son not have bad dreams when we travel? Yeah, if you promise him not to come back, he should rest easy.
8. How do we deal with separation anxiety? Yes, stop worrying. Your son will be fine. He doesn’t want you to come back.
9. Do you recommend telecommuting to cut down on business travel? Sure. Just no teleparenting.
10. Any last words on business travel? Yes, I think it’s nice that you think you have a career worthy of travel. There used to be a time when bums thought walking down the street was just walking down the street, not “business travel.” So good for you.
