The American Payroll Association wants to know which Comedy Central late-night TV talk show host deserves a salary increase: Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert. Current results show Stewart with a commanding lead of 69% to 31% for Colbert. The survey is live until September 5th at 5 p.m. ET. Real-time results of the contest and a link to the survey are online.
“The ‘Getting Paid In America’ survey is held in conjunction with National Payroll Week, an awareness campaign that educates Americans about their paychecks and payroll related benefits,” said Dan Maddux, executive director of the American Payroll Association, the survey’s publisher. “The contest between the two popular Comedy Central hosts is fun way to bring the educational message of NPW to a wider, more diverse audience.”
