NBC is planning to develop a half-hour sitcom based loosely on comedian Russell Peters’ family life. Peters, “who was raised in Canada by parents who immigrated from India, was married earlier this year and expecting his first child.”
Peters starred in his own stand-up special, Russell Peters: Red, White and Brown on Comedy Central and hosted Comics Without Borders on Showtime.
