Comedy Central has greenlit a six-episode sketch series starring comedian-actor Nick Swardson. The new series is slated to begin production in November and is scheduled to premiere in 2010. Swardson taped a one-hour COMEDY CENTRAL stand-up special in Austin that aired on October 11. His second album, Seriously, Who Farted? was released on COMEDY CENTRAL Records this month.
Swardson recently completed his first starring role in the Columbia Pictures feature, Born to Be a Star, which he co-wrote and produced with Adam Sandler and Allen Covert.
