Actor-comedian Nick Thune sets the record straight on his pilot sold to ABC. It was reported in Variety that the Knocked Up actor signed a holding deal with ABC Studios and will co-write a half-hour pilot with Wedding Crashers scribe Bob Fisher and writer-producer Ruben Fleischer.
“Thune and Fleischer also co-created and executive produced the MTV series Rob & Big, featuring short films from the pair,” reports Variety.
Thune recently gave fans an update on the progress of the pilot and sets the record straight about his role on Rob & Big.
“In the fall, I sold a pilot to ABC, then the strike hit. When the strike ended, my pilot went into fast forward,” he writes on his MySpace blog. “I did not create Rob & Big. That is false. Also, I did not approve the picture.”
