Vancouver’s Graham Clark won the $25,000 grand prize and the title of 2008 Great Canadian Laugh Off Champion beating 64 amateur and professional comics from across the country and as far away as South Africa and Australia. Clark, who began performing stand up at age 15, impressed a panel industry-hardened judges, including Bruce Hills, COO of the Just for Laughs Festival, Eddie Brill, talent coordinator for the Late Show with David Letterman, Michael Cox, talent executive for the hit show Chelsea Lately and Michelle Daly, director of content for The Comedy Network.
The 2008 Yuk Yuk’s Great Canadian Laugh Off will air on The Comedy Network later in 2008.
