Latino Laugh Festival Line-Up Announced

HOLLYWOOD, Calif., June 4 /PRNewswire/ — Presented by Time Warner Cable of Southern California, SiTV’s Latino Laugh Festival (http://www.latinolaughfestival.com/) will feature three hilarious nights from June 22-24 with a long list of celebrities and events from spoken word and one-person shows to sketch comedy and mid-night madness stand-up shows. Now Latinologues, !Gaytino! and N*GGER WETB*CK CH*NK join the more than thirty comics to perform at seven venues up and down Hollywood Blvd, adding acclaimed theatrical flare to the Latino Laugh Festival (LLF) line-up.

Rick Najera’s Latinologues(TM) is a Broadway sketch comedy sensation showing at the Festival on Friday, June 22 at the Ricardo Montalban Theatre (1615 Vine St, Hollywood, CA 90028) at 8pm. A collection of comedic and poignant monologues about the Latino experience in America, Latinologues(TM) has toured the nation to sold-out crowds.

Dan Guerrero brings !Gaytino! to the Latino Laugh Festival following last year’s critically-acclaimed world premiere run in Los Angeles produced by the Center Theatre Group. A father/son relationship and a treasured boyhood friendship drive this 75-minute autobiographical, comedic play through decades of Chicano history and the gay experience from a unique and highly personal perspective. The show is scheduled for Saturday, June 23 at 7:30pm at the King King Theatre (6555 Hollywood Blvd).

N*GGER WETB*CK CH*NK blends theatre, hip-hop, stand-up comedy, slam poetry, and true-life stories with an altogether original style. Three performers (Allan Axibal, Rafael Agustin, Miles Gregley) take on racial slurs, stereotypes, and the concept of race itself in this hilarious, ninety-minute stage production. The LLF performance will be held on Saturday, June 23 at 10:30pm at the Ivar Theatre (1605 N Ivar Ave).
