Comedian Al Madrigal has been tapped by The Daily Show with Jon Stewart to join “The Best F*ing News Team Ever!” Madrigal’s first segment as a contributor is scheduled to air tonight, May 17 at 11pm ET/PT when he will address the topic of immigration with Jon Stewart in the studio.
Madrigal has made numerous appearances on Comedy Central including his own half-hour stand-up special, Comedy Central Presents: Al Madrigal, John Oliver’s New York Stand-up Show and Pretend Time with Nick Swardson. His late-night television appearances include Conan, Lopez Tonight, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and Jimmy Kimmel Live.
This fall, NBC has scheduled his latest project, Free Agents, about two co-workers who fall in love (played by Hank Azaria and Kathryn Hahn) for Wednesday nights at 8:30pm ET/PT.
