The Laughing Stock Comedy Festival is accepting submissions for its Rooftop Comedy sponsored contest. Comedians can apply online and submit a 3-5 minute You Tube video, registration form and $30 fee by August 31, 2011. (Applicants must be 21 years or older, on or before August 31, 2011.) Only 12 comedians will be selected to perform. The selected comedians will be notified on or before September 15, 2011 and will compete for cash prizes at the festival on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at The Complex in Salt Lake City.
