Vince Beane, a former production manager who worked on Eddie Griffin’s VH1 show, filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles County Superior Court against Griffin and the Leslie Grief Company, and claims that the comedian-actor beat him on March 10 for booking the star and his mother in a “cheap three-star hotel.” Beane told TMZ.com that the Undercover Brother star had already consumed half a case of champagne when he attacked him. Griffin’s representative issued a statement that Beane’s claim is “absurd.”
